Position Summary:

Performs duties required to receive incoming components, stock components in correct storage areas, service production lines with appropriate components, transport finished product into trucks for transport to shipping facility, load final trucks for transportation to customer.

Position Responsibilities:

Unloading and loading of bins of parts using motorized fork lift.
Scanning of labels to ensure proper storage, inventory control and customer shipments.
Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor.
Conducts forklift safety checks on prescribed intervals.
Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).
Other duties as assigned to maintain production.

Qualifications:

Follows all safety requirements of the company – PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, weld sleeves) safe job behaviors, etc.
Able to safely and efficiently operate a forklift by passing forklift training class and obtaining license.
Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to read and understand operation standards, job instructions and product labels.
Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas.

Work Environment:

Plant environment.
Regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
Regularly required to be exposed to outside weather/elements.
