Position Summary: Performs duties required to efficiently support the stamping presses  via safe movement of material and dies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conducts crane Safety inspections 
• Operates overhead crane to load and unload dies off press bolsters (i.e., secure the appropriate die to the press bed using clamps or bolts; connect hoses and sensors as required and align the die precisely on the press and ensure the upper and lower dies are properly aligned to the press)
• Operates overhead crane to stage steel coils at the press.
• Records receiving data in the system.
• Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).
• Other duties as assigned to maintain production.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma.
• Follows all safety requirements of the company – PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc.
• Able to safely and efficiently operate a forklift by passing forklift training class and obtaining license.
• Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read and understand operation standards, job instructions and product labels.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas.
•  Must pass overhead crane training prior to crane operation.

Work Environment:

• Plant environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
