Position Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and direction of quality associates and the inspection of parts to ensure that products are meeting customer specifications.
• Oversee testing and procedures to support part validation efforts.
• Provide ongoing communication with internal and external customers to address and correct quality issues.
• Maintain test equipment to standards.
• Generate test reports from validation testing using statistical process control (SPC) methods when required.
• Use Quality Problem solving tools for root cause analysis and corrective action to include 5P and internal CAR formats.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• ·High School Diploma and 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing (B.S. or B.A. Degree in technical- related field preferred)
• 1-2 years experience in manufacturing/quality.
• Previous experience in automotive manufacturing a plus.
• Welding, metal forming, and assembly process experience.
• Thoroughly versed in use of array of testing equipment.
• Understanding of IATF16949, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Quality problem solving tools, and APQP.
• Computer knowledge and experience with emphasis on Microsoft Office applications.
