Overview:     This position is responsible for collaborating with key business contacts in the analysis and preparation of feasibility studies, cost and time estimates, and impacts on current systems. The incumbent will consult with user or technical lead to identify current procedures and clarify programming objectives. Functional and technical specifications will be translated into programming code. The role will also consist of ERP system support and sometimes hardware support as needed.

General Responsibilities: 

• Analyze processes of low/moderate complexity and designs/develop application software solutions to streamline business operations.
• Projects will often involve integration with our ERP system.
• Execute functionality and performance testing on applications to ensure that solutions meet design specifications.
• Develop technical documentation and end-user training materials.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize conflicting demands. 
• Execute assigned project tasks within established schedule. 
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and mission of the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide end-user training.
• Assist in application and hardware support activities.

Background/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years application development experience. 
• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
• Working knowledge of SQL, VB.net, ASP.net and ERP Systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing and/or Business Operations preferred.

Work Environment:

• Office environment with occasional need to be on the production plant floor to discuss current and future projects.
